PhD Students Host Panel at Â鶹ŮÀÉ's Teaching with Technology Showcase

PhD students Ana-Christina Acosta Gaspar De Alba, Ali Friedberg Tal-mason, and Charlie Gleek hosted a panel along with Â鶹ŮÀÉ's Dr. Wendy Hinshaw at Â鶹ŮÀÉ's "2018 Teaching with Technology Showcase" on April 20 at Â鶹ŮÀÉ's Davie campus

PhD students Ana-Christina Acosta Gaspar De Alba, Ali Friedberg Tal-mason, and Charlie Gleek hosted a panel along with Â鶹ŮÀÉ's Dr. Wendy Hinshaw at Â鶹ŮÀÉ's on April 20 at Â鶹ŮÀÉ's Davie campus. The panel session, entitled "Incorporating Digital Humanities in First-Year Writing Pedagogy," highlighted various approaches that Graduate Teaching Assistants used to incorporate the Digital Humanities in their writing classrooms. Their topics included the use of Â鶹ŮÀÉ's AMP lab, TED Talks, copyright considerations, and tools such as Google Apps for Education (GAFE), Voyant Tools (an open source text analysis and data visualization tool), and Hypothes.is (an open source and social annotation tool).
