The third faculty art exhibition, “Polysemic, was developed by Matthew Baltrucki, assistant professor of music. It is an interactive, multidisciplinary live performance sound installation and recording event. The exhibition will feature musical artist, Kyle Motl, a music producer/recording engineer, Baltrucki, and visual artist, Carlos Dominguez, collaboratively exploring the nature of the perceptual distinction between live and recorded music as well as the role of the record producer in the aesthetics of sound reproduction.

The University Galleries are open Tuesday through Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The Schmidt Center Gallery is located in the Performing Arts building (building 51), near the Living Room Theaters.

The “trifectaâ€ of faculty art exhibition is produced in collaboration with the Department of Visual Arts and Art History. This is the twelfth iteration of this exhibition and furthers the University Galleries mission to promote the complex world of the arts and the professional artistic practices at Â鶹ŮÀÉ.
