Your is your unique university identifier and forms the first part of your official Â鶹ŮÀÉ email address (for example, Â鶹ŮÀÉNetID@fau.edu or Â鶹ŮÀÉNetID@health.fau.edu).
You will use your full Â鶹ŮÀÉ email address and password to access most university services, including Canvas, the MYÂ鶹ŮÀÉ Portal, Workday, and your Microsoft Outlook email.
Be sure to check your Â鶹ŮÀÉ email regularly, as important university communications, updates, and notifications will be sent there. You can conveniently access your email through the .

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Â鶹ŮÀÉ requires Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all students, faculty, and staff accessing university systems. MFA adds a second layer of security to your Â鶹ŮÀÉ account by requiring a secondary method of verification—such as a mobile device or hardware token—in addition to your password.
The goal of MFA is to create a layered defense and make it more difficult for an unauthorized person to access your information. MFA adds a step to the login process and requires you to prove your identity after entering a username and password by responding to a prompt.
