Transfer Students

Â鶹ŮÀÉ opened as the first university in the country to offer only upper-division and graduate-level courses thus beginning its tradition of serving the needs of transfer students. Â鶹ŮÀÉ admitted its first freshman class in 1984, emerging as the four-year institution of today. Â鶹ŮÀÉ continues to be committed to assisting students who are transitioning to the university.

TheÌý Transfer Student Services Center Ìýis dedicated to assisting prospective students in navigating their transfer process and assisting them through the transition to Â鶹ŮÀÉ. Prospective students can view whether courses taken at another institution are transferable to Â鶹ŮÀÉ through the use of ourÌý Transfer Equivalency Service (TES). Students transferring from a Florida College System institution should also review Â鶹ŮÀÉ’sÌýAcademic Program Transfer Guides Ìýto better understand each major’s lower-division courses that should be taken to help in their transition. Finally, all transfer students can benefit from reviewing the General Education Checklist.
