Research Description
My research interests are focused on the relationship between the structure and function of individual neurons in the mammalian brain, particularly during development and normal aging. In addition, my laboratory has investigated the effects of estrogen on learning and neuronal morphology in a rodent model, and we have examined the development of right/left differences in the hippocampal formation. I am currently re-activating my research program after serving as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs (Â鶹ŮÀÉ) and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (University of New Mexico).
