Outdoor Trip Requirements


  1. All participants must fill out and sign an Informed Consent/Release of Liability and a Medical Information Form prior to attending a trip.
  2. All participants on Â鶹ŮÀÉ Outdoor Trips are required to abide by the Â鶹ŮÀÉ Travel Code of Conduct.
  3. No one under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or impairing legal drugs will be allowed to participate. Individuals who are found to be under the influence on a trip will be sent back to the University via Taxi at their own expense.
  4. Participants must abide by all Trip Leader directions and all established safety procedures while on a trip.
  5. Participants may not smoke on Â鶹ŮÀÉ Outdoor Trips.
  6. Participants found to be in violation of the Â鶹ŮÀÉ Travel Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary action and may be barred from future Outdoor Trips.
  7. All attendees of Outdoor Trips must be 18 years of age or older.
  8. All Outdoor Trips will require some level of physical activity. Participants must be physically capable of participating in Outdoor Trips on their own or with reasonable accommodations. Participants who need accommodations in order to fully participate on Outdoor Trips can email outdoor@fau.edu.
