Application And Admissions

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Have a documented significant intellectual and developmental disability
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have graduated from high school
• Be capable of meeting personal needs without assistance
• Be able to self-administer any necessary medication
• Display appropriate behaviors
• Have the capability to participate in 50 to 90 minute classes
• Navigate the campus independently
• The first semester is probationary

Application Process

1. Download the Application Packet (See below).
2. Qualified applicants will be contacted for a student and family interview.
3. Applicants will be notified by mail of their acceptance.
4. Students are admitted to the Academy in the fall of each academic year.

Application Checklist

1. Review the ACI Application Information Packet (pdf)
2. Complete the Academy for Community Inclusion (ACI) application
3. Submit copies of the following:
   1. Most recent Individual Education Plan (IEP)
   2. Most recent psychological or psycho-educational evaluation
   3. High school diploma or certificate
   4. High school transcript showing proof of graduation
   5. Recent photo/headshot of applicant
   6. 3 letters of recommendation: 2 professional and 1 personal
   7. Signed Â鶹ŮÀÉ ACI Applicant Contract (pdf)
   8. Signed Parent/Guardian/Caretaker Memorandum of Understanding (pdf)
