Communication Sciences and Disorders
A wide range of academic preparation and clinical practicum experiences is provided with a variety of speech-language-hearing disorders. Training involves practicum experiences with adults and children, in a minimum of 3 different practicum settings. To accomplish this, placement agreements exist in the following school districts:

Candidates participate in supervised clinical experiences in four direct counseling services which become the backbone of their program as school counselors. These four direct services are: Individual counseling, group counseling, classroom guidance and consulting with teachers and parents. The Â鶹ŮÀÉ-School District Partnership includes multiple school districts in Florida, each individually partnered with Â鶹ŮÀÉ’s School Leaders Program, who together develop, implement, and improve the professional learning of school leaders in their districts to provide the best public education for students, families, and the community.
