What is Computer Science About?

What is the Difference between the BS and BA Computer Science Degree?

The Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science is a program for students interested in the design and development of software. The Bachelor of Science in Computer Science is a program that prepares students to study computers, software, and computing systems, including their theory, design, development, and application.

The major difference in math/science requirements between BSCS and BACS is that BSCS requires students to take higher-level math and science courses. On the other hand, students in the BACS program take general-education-level math and science courses.
