Fulbright Scholar-In-Residence Program

The is accepting for U.S. institutions to host a scholar from outside of the United States for a semester or full academic year to teach courses, assist in curriculum development, guest lecture, develop study abroad/exchange partnerships and engage with the campus and the local community. Fulbright provides J-visa sponsorship, travel, and living stipends. ÌýS-I-Rs can provide support through the following activities:

  • Teach courses or guest lecture on topics in their areas of expertise
  • Provide cross-cultural or international perspectives
  • Promote curricula and program development
  • Enhance the institution’s international/global studies programs
  • Assist in the development of interdisciplinary program offerings
  • Broaden international cooperation
  • Engage in both on-campus and community activities
