ADMISSION via Global Academic Track & Intensive English Institute

Students entering the Intensive English Institute at any level and complete level VI of the IEI academic track are not required to submit any additional langauge proficiency tests. Completion of level VI is considered sufficient to meet English language proficiency requirement for admission to Â鶹ŮÀÉ. In addition, students may seek conditional admission through the Global Academic Track. 

CONDITIONAL ADMISSION*

Students who fulfill all admission requirements except for those related to language proficiency can enroll in the Global Academic Track program. Conditional admission is the status given to qualified students who fulfill all admission requirements except for those related to English language ability. Intensive English Track students who are committed to attending Â鶹ŮÀÉ and wish to have conditional admission status are encouraged to move to the Intensive English Institute's Conditional Admission Track.

Qualified students apply to the Global Academic Track and to Â鶹ŮÀÉ simultaneously and are given conditional admission to Â鶹ŮÀÉ. IEI students on the Conditional Admission Track continue to improve their academic/professional English level in all language subjects, gain valuable insights to better support their acclimation to the academic world of Â鶹ŮÀÉ and the U.S., and acquire research and presentation skills necessary for success at the university level. In the Global Academic Track level of the Conditional Admission Track, students may also take two credit-bearing courses which will count toward their degree at Â鶹ŮÀÉ.
