Message from the Chair

Welcome to the Department of Women's and Children's Health at the Schmidt College of Medicine at Â鶹ŮÀÉ! It is my privilege to serve as Chair of the department as we strive to advance the health and wellbeing of women and children in our region and across the nation.

As a community-based medical school, we partner with hospitals and clinics to implement our medical curricula and are committed to promoting academic and evidence-based clinical excellence through education, research, community collaborations and clinical care.

Our compassionate and energetic educators, clinicians, researchers and scholars serve as advocates and seek to improve maternal, child, youth and family health by training the clinical and academic leaders of tomorrow.
