are now coordinated with the electronic records system that is completed at orientation and/or before your clinical/practicums and you will always have access to them in your account of the electronic medical records if you should need them in the futureÌýÌýafterÌýÌýyour first year of completing them.
However, during the transition anyone who does not have an electronic health records started because they are a current student following the old process can find the forms on theÌýÌýBackground Check & Health RecordsÌýÌýsection located on the left sidebar of the Current Student page (this page).

Certified Background
In order to improve the efficiency and time-constraints of the background check process, the College of Nursing, uses a company called Certified Background.
Certified Background coordinatesÌýÌýALLÌýÌýaspects of background check items including Live-Scan fingerprinting, and maintaining health records, as well as drug testing, if needed.
Background Checks and related items will be completed at the time of Admission to the College of Nursing.
Package Codes are in parenthesis. (FL##) Do not include the parenthesis.

SIP Training
Self-Insurance Plan (SIP) requirements:ÌýÌýÂ鶹ŮÀÉ is participating member in the Florida Board of Governors Self-Insurance Program (SIP) which covers all Â鶹ŮÀÉ nursing students during practicum experiences. Please be aware that the university SIP only covers you in the role of the student.
