FACULTY SUPPORT

The PELS' approach to supporting multilingual and multidialectical students begins with supporting Â鶹ŮÀÉ faculty.

The PELS Team is available to support faculty by:

  • hosting faculty workshops
  • providing support material/handouts
  • meeting with individual faculty and departmentsÌý ÌýÌý

We are happy to discuss:

  • The linguistic and cultural challenges that multilingual students face and share resources on second language acquisition
  • Effective ways of commenting on second language students' writing
  • Inclusive classroom discussions and team projects
