Non-faculty Researchers

Non-faculty researchers are doctorate-holding researchers that are not tenure-eligible (whether someone is part of a faculty pay-plan is not a consideration for the purposes of this NSF survey). These are usually full or part-time positions titled research associate, research assistant professor, research associate professor, research professor, or research scientist. Non-faculty researchers will not be counted if the degree is missed or reported incorrectly in Workday.
