Welcome to the Â鶹ŮÀÉ Testing Center. The Center is committed to providing quality testing services to our students, faculty and community members. We have two centers; one is located on the second floor of the Student Support Services Building (SU80), Room 210, Boca Campus and the other one is on the second floor of the Liberal Arts Building, Room 243A on the Davie Campus. We aim to offer the most relevant national and institutional based testing programs to our constituents, including: CLEP/DSST testing, makeup exams, academic competency exams, graduate school admission tests, correspondence testing, and professional certification and licensure exams. The services offered to faculty include, but not limited to, are test scoring and scanning for faculty. Additionally, a Prometric Testing Center is located at the Boca Raton Campus and is committed to serving their clientele. The mission of the Â鶹ŮÀÉ office of Testing and Certification is to adhere to National College Testing Association (NCTA) professional standards and guidelines and provide quality services to Â鶹ŮÀÉ students, faculty, staff and the community. We fulfill our mission by offering the most advanced testing options to assist individuals in their quest for academic and professional fulfillment. The total number of exams administered in 2025-2026, consisting of certification, pre-employment, licensing, academic competency promotional examinations and makeup testing was 25,353 across both Â鶹ŮÀÉ testing sites.

New Make-up Testing Procedures fall 2025

Beginning Fall 2025, the Â鶹ŮÀÉ Testing Center will implement a new policy regarding make-up exam services. To better support instructional needs and manage testing resources efficiently, make-up exam services will only be available to faculty teaching courses with an enrollment of 100 or more students. To facilitate this change, the Testing Center will offer six dedicated make-up exam slots per day specifically for these large-enrollment courses. This change aims to streamline the make-up exam process, reduce end-of-semester congestion, and better support both students and faculty in managing makeup course assessments.

Earn College Credit with CLEP

CLEP (the College-Level Examination Program®) offers 34 exams that cover intro-level college course material. With a passing score on one CLEP exam, you could earn three or more college credits at more than 2,900 U.S. colleges and universities. CLEP was created to help individuals with prior knowledge in a college course subject earn their degree efficiently and inexpensively.
