Admission to Â鶹ŮÀÉ does not guarantee admission to any specific major. All prospective students business majors are admitted to Â鶹ŮÀÉ as “Pre-Business.” If you plan to complete your program online, you can also indicate this when you apply. 

Click the button below for information about specific requirements to declare a business major.  Students who have met these requirements can declare their major during a meeting with a business advisor.  (There is no separate admission application to the College of Business.)

• Incoming Freshmen: After acceptance to the university, you will receive academic advising from University Advising Services until you are ready to transition to COB advising. 
• Transfer Students and Second Bachelor's Students:  Please visit the  page for a step-by-step guide to transferring to Â鶹ŮÀÉ.  Except where otherwise noted, all transfer steps apply to second bachelor's students.  If you have any trouble scheduling your first advising appointment, please call us at 561-297-3688 and press option 6.
• Non-Degree-Seeking Students: Please visit the registrar's office's website for .  Please visit our COB registration information page for . Important: Should you decide to become a degree-seeking student, a maximum of 9 credits of coursework taken as non-degree-seeking can be counted towards a degree.

About the College of Business Online Bachelor's Program

• As a fully online major, students have the same prerequisites and pre-business core curriculum as on-campus majors and are required to meet the same admissions standards.
• Fully online students have full access to advisors and instructors and all on-campus events so they can feel just as connected to the university as students who come to campus every day.
• Graduates of the Online programs are invited to walk across the stage at graduation alongside fellow fully online and on-campus majors.
• The diplomas awarded to fully online majors and on-campus majors are exactly the same.

Â鶹ŮÀÉ's College of Business Online program is AACSB and SACS-accredited and is taught by the same  as the on-campus majors. Our expert faculty bring both extensive academic credentials and solid business experience to the classroom with curriculum immediately applicable to students' current studies, jobs, and plans for achieving career goals.

Admissions Process

Students must first be admitted to Â鶹ŮÀÉ or be a current Â鶹ŮÀÉ undergraduate student to meet the requirements to declare an Online major. There is no separate application required for admission to the College of Business Online Bachelor's Programs.

All Students: Requirements to Declare an Online Major

In order to declare the fully online program, students must meet the requirements listed below. Switching back and forth between the traditional majors and the College of Business Online Bachelor's Programs is not permitted. The Online majors are for students who intend to complete their entire degree fully online.
