Bethesda Hospital East
聽is a community-based hospital in Boynton Beach that is part of the not-for-profit Baptist Health South Florida system. It offers a full array of healthcare services.

Boca Raton Regional Hospital
The Hospital has been Joint Commission rated as "Top Performer" for surgical care and 鈥淎鈥� rated by The Leap Frog Group, for safety and avoidance of errors. All rotations are fully staffed and supervised by expert faculty surgeons; the residents will be exposed to a model of full-time employed faculty surgeons, as well as private practice surgeons, in a multi-disciplinary and multi-professional team care approach. At Boca Regional, the residents will complete the following rotations:聽Surgery 1 [Red], Surgery 2 [Blue], Anesthesia/Pre-OP, Breast Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Surgical Critical Care, Vascular Surgery, GI/Surgical Endoscopy, Plastic Surgery and Wound Management. In addition to the clinical rotations, the facility offers exposure for the residents in Systematic Quality Improvement [SQI, hospital wide committee participation, CLER effort], and scholarship.

On the Delray Medical Center campus, Fair Oaks Pavilion comprises a 66-bed, three-unit psychiatry inpatient facility that includes a specialty unit for geriatric psychiatry and provides medication-assisted detoxification. As a Baker Act institution with a dedicated psychiatric emergency service, this sponsoring hospital offers 24-hour emergency assessment of the psychiatric needs of community residents across a full range of demographics and psychopathologies. Within the general medical hospital setting, the consultation-liaison psychiatry service plays an integral role in the care of patients in the emergency department, on the medical floors and trauma service, and in the ICU. The electroconvulsive therapy service for inpatients and outpatients treats 1,300 patients a year. 聽
Residents on all services receive direct supervision tailored to their stage of training and unique learning needs. The institution provides committed staff support for this residency as well as residency offices and computer labs, call rooms, a resident lounge, and interactive virtual classrooms so that residents may participate in conferences throughout the 麻豆女郎 College of Medicine Graduate Medical Education Consortium. Ruth & Norman Rales JFS
JFS counseling and mental health services offer comprehensive, innovative and compassionate client-centered care. Our multidisciplinary clinical team provides assessments and treatments that directly address the needs of our clients. JFS staff is comprised of licensed and experienced clinical social workers, mental health counselors, psychologists and psychiatrists. The array of services provided include psychotherapy, psychological testing, psychoeducational testing, psychiatric evaluations and medication management for pediatric, adult and geriatric clients.
JFS is also proud to serve as a practice site for graduate level students from six universities. Students working on their Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology and Nurse Practitioner Programs. This synergy of academia and practice helps to ensure that our client-centered care is of the highest quality through the utilization of innovative best practices.
West Palm Beach VA Medical Center
These services are delivered in different settings throughout the medical center including the Emergency Department (ED) for admission (voluntary, Baker Act, detox), inpatient psychiatric treatment (3C) and residential mental health treatment (Domiciliary). The Mental Health Clinic (MHC) provides treatment in an outpatient setting for patients with major mood, anxiety, personality, and psychotic disorders. Specialty care, including evidence-based treatment, is offered in the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) clinic, Port St. Lucie PTSD Clinical Team (PCT), and the Substance Abuse Program (SAP). Veterans with serious mental illness can benefit from Mental Health Intensive Case Management (MHICM) and Psychosocial Rehabilitation Recovery Center (PRRC), which provide frequent contact with the Veterans and community integration. Individual therapy and psychiatric medication management services are also offered at the VA鈥檚 Community Based Outpatient Centers (CBOC's) which include Vero Beach, Ft. Pierce, Stuart, Delray, and Boca Raton.

The 麻豆女郎 General Surgery Residency Program is centered around 5 major area hospitals that have come together to collaborate with the Charles E Schmidt College of Medicine at 麻豆女郎 to form the basis for high quality clinical training for a number of graduate medical education programs. 聽The hospitals include聽Bethesda Hospital East,聽Bethesda Hospital West,聽Boca Raton Regional Hospital,聽Delray Medical Center,聽St. Mary's Medical Center, and聽West Boca Medical Center.
The goal of this collaboration is to provide our residents and students with a comprehensive array of outstanding clinical services with a large and varied case volume, performed by our high quality surgical specialists.
Together, our teaching hospitals are providing high-end, cost-effective health and health-related services to the people of Palm Beach County, across the entire range of ages, and a varied ethnic and socio-economic population.
In addition, 麻豆女郎 and the College of Medicine have partnered with the聽University of Florida Health - Shands Hospital to provide our surgical residents with excellent and in depth exposure to transplantation surgery and burn surgery at these high end, high volume academic teaching centers in the region.
St. Mary's Medical Center
In addition, the hospital houses a comprehensive stroke center, orthopedics and rehabilitation center, and surgical weight loss center. The hospital is Joint Commission accredited and has received n 鈥淎鈥� rating by The Leap Frog Group for safety and avoidance of errors. All rotations are fully staffed and supervised by expert faculty surgeons; the residents will be exposed to a model of both full-time employed faculty surgeons, as well as private practice surgeons in a multi-disciplinary and multi-professional team care approach. West Boca Medical Center
The Surgery rotation at West Boca Hospital will be fully staffed and supervised by expert faculty surgeons, mostly in private practice, and organized in an apprenticeship model, where the residents follow faculty surgeons from the office to the operating room, allowing them to experience greater continuity of care and understanding of outpatient surgery.

University of Florida Health - Shands Hospital
The surgical residents will rotate on the burn 聽and transplantation services at University of Florida - Shands Hospital for a total of 6 weeks during their PGY II year. In particular residents will be able to participate in the care of patients with second- and higher-degree burns 鈮� to 10 % of the total body surface area, burns that involve the face, hands, feet, genitalia, perineum or major joints, electrical burns, including lightning injury, chemical burns, Inhalation injury, and burns with concomitant trauma. The rotation is fully staffed and supervised by expert faculty surgeons, specializing in Acute Care Surgery, Burn Surgery and Plastic Surgery, and residents will practice in a multidisciplinary environment to achieve optimal outcomes. As a site for ACGME accredited residency programs [including surgery] the institution has extensive experience in the education of students, residents and fellows; while on rotation the residents will participate in all educational activities offered by the site. Clinical and basic science research is integral to the mission of the University of Florida Health System and the Shands Hospital Burn Center, and the Burn Center faculty is highly active in research and scholarship; the residents will be able to participate in scholarship projects both during and off rotation.

Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program
The two-year Vascular Surgery Fellowship Program with the Charles E Schmidt College of Medicine at 麻豆女郎 was approved by the ACGME in September 2019.
The Vascular Surgery Fellowship is based at Delray Medical Center (DMC), a 536-bed hospital with over 1,600 employees. For more than 35 years, DMC has served the communities of Palm Beach County, with a population of approximately 1.5 million, as both a community hospital, Level I Trauma Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center located on a 42-acre medical plaza.
Delray Medical Center has been the Recipient of Healthgrades庐 'America's 50 Best Hospitals' Award鈩� for 14 Years in a Row (2007-2020) and has received countless other distinctions from other organizations such as The Joint Commission, Truven Health Analytics, American Heart Association, Healthgrades, and Leapfrog Group recognizing excellence in Vascular Surgery, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, Neuroscience, Pulmonary, Gastrointestinal Disease, Critical Care, GYN Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, and Patient Safety. Baptist Health Boca Ration Regional Hospital
n 1967, was established as a not-for-profit community hospital. Since then, it has evolved into a leading tertiary care facility with 400 beds and a medical staff of over 800 primary care and specialty physicians. It is one of just four hospitals in Palm Beach County recognized by the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Additionally, the hospital earned the distinction of being ranked #1 in Palm Beach County and among the top in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for 2020鈥�2021. To meet the increasing healthcare demands of the community, the hospital is currently expanding its capacity with additional beds.

Five separate Intensive Care Units support care of the surgery, trauma, medical, neurosurgical, and cardiac/medical patients. To continually meet the needs of the growing local community, DMC recently expanded by adding a new patient tower, which includes 96 private patient rooms, a comprehensive cardiovascular clinic including cardiac rehabilitation, an expanded laboratory, and the latest imaging technology.

Trustbridge
Serving an average of 1,900 patients daily, Trustbridge鈥檚 hospice programs go above and beyond what Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance provide under the normal hospice benefit, such as palliative surgery, clinical massage therapy, music therapy, and an extensive grief support program. Through an interdisciplinary approach to care and an open access philosophy, the hospice care group works with each patient鈥檚 primary physician to enhance the end-of-life experience. Every case is managed by a registered nurse, who is assisted by certified nursing assistants, social workers, spiritual care counselors, music therapists, bereavement counselors, and volunteers.
