Biography
Dr. Mohammed, MD (by training), MSN, APRN, FNP-C, RN, began his career in education, teaching school-aged children while completing his undergraduate studies. He began his nursing career as a registered nurse in neuroscience and medical-surgical specialties. While working in the intensive care unit, his passion for healthcare and commitment to education continued to grow.
He went on to obtain his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) certification and, soon afterward, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. Driven by a desire to serve both patients and students, Dr. Mohammed joined Â鶹ŮÀÉ in 2023 as a Clinical Adjunct. Beginning in Fall 2026, he will serve as a Visiting Instructor.
Outside of his professional practice and academic responsibilities, Dr. Mohammed enjoys giving back to the community through local charitable events. He also enjoys staying active through weightlifting and volleyball. In his free time, he values spending time with his family and friends and caring for his two Shih Tzu puppies.
