Officers (2024-2025)

Elisabeth Rodriguez, President

Hello everyone! My name is Elisabeth Rodriguez and I am currently an undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a concentration in Pure Mathematics. Alongside my research partner, Aiden, I am working on an undergraduate research project under Dr. Lundberg. As president of Math Club, I hope to collaborate with my fellow board members to expand the club!

Aiden Corcoran, Vice President

Hi everyone! I’m the current vice president of the Math Club at Â鶹ŮÀÉ in Boca Raton, and a new graduate student shooting for a Ph.D. in Mathematics. Right now, I'm performing once-undergraduate research with President, Elisabeth Rodriguez. One of my favorite parts about mathematics is getting to the level where you can explain complex topics in simple terms to someone who is curious about a form of mathematical study, so I hope to bring this mindset as far as mathematics can go. As vice president, I will do my best to be a good representative of Math Club’s ideals, and I hope we all have a great semester!

Morgan Williams, Treasurer

Hi, my name is Morgan Williams and I am from Pensacola, Florida. I’m currently a graduate student pursuing a M.S. with a concentration in Biostatistics within the department of Mathematics and Statistics at Â鶹ŮÀÉ. I've always been intrigued by the beauty of math and its applications to help give an understanding to the real world. Math club is a vital part of the experience and I am happy to be a part of it!

Elijah Ribeiro, Treasurer

What is UP, party people?! My name is Elijah Ribeiro and I’m currently a senior pursuing a B.A. in Mathematics. For as much as I love diving into theoretical mathematical rabbit holes, I truly do believe that mathematicians are incomplete without peers to share their experiences with. I have found this club to be a great place to share these experiences with people both in and outside of our department. I hope to continue upholding that aspect as treasurer!

Dominic Dijan, Secretary

Hello, all! My name is Dom Dijan, and I am the current secretary of the Math Club of Â鶹ŮÀÉ! I am originally from Pennsylvania but moved down to Florida to pursue a graduate degree in Pure Mathematics. I have always enjoyed both learning new mathematical concepts as well as helping others with the areas I am already familiar with. For a fun fact, I was the drum major for my undergraduate university band. As secretary, I am excited to continue growing the club to math lovers and math toleraters as well!

Jordan, Event Coordinator

Hello, my name is Jordan Lederer. I am the current Event Coordinator for Math Club at Â鶹ŮÀÉ. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science and am working toward an M.S. in Mathematics with a concentration in Applied Analysis. My academic interests include dynamical systems and computational geometry, along with broader interests in interdisciplinary fields that connect mathematics with other STEM disciplines. In particular, I enjoy exploring topics such as symmetry, mathematical music theory, mathematical physics, and the simulation of complex systems. Outside of mathematics, I enjoy programming, game development, and creative writing. As Event Coordinator, I hope to contribute to and support the club that has been an essential part of my experience at Â鶹ŮÀÉ.

Luke Carey, Assistant Event Coordinator

Hey everyone! I’m Luke Carey, the current Assistant Event Coordinator of the Math Club of Â鶹ŮÀÉ. I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics here at Â鶹ŮÀÉ, and am assisting in research in cryptography. As Assistant Event Coordinator for the Math Club, I want to help this club soar to bright new heights, making it both more fun and more accessible to all. I hope to see you there, and I look forward to getting to know you!
